The control method is simple, but it requires a large number of IO ports and is more expensive. It is suitable for small-area or low-resolution display screens.

Dynamic drive:

Including dynamic row drive, dynamic dot matrix drive and other methods.

The brightness and color of each pixel or LED light can be controlled by time-sharing control or setting a time sequence.

It can save the number of IO ports, but requires high control accuracy and complex control logic.

Row and column scanning drive:

It combines the characteristics of static scanning and dynamic scanning.

Each row and column of LED lights are controlled by independent control lines, and full-color display is achieved by coordinating the control lines of each row and column.

It requires fewer pins, and can also achieve a high refresh rate and good display effect, but the cost is high.

Constant current drive:

Commonly used in indoor full-color display screens.

The brightness and color of LED lights are adjusted by controlling the current.

It has the advantages of good stability, uniform brightness, and bright colors.
