LS038Y7DX01 is a 3.8 inch diagonal CG-Silicon display screen product from Sharp, with a built-in WLED backlight, without backlight driver, without touch screen. LS038Y7DX01 supports display 480(RGB)×800 (WVGA) with aspect ratio of 3:5 (W:H), whose pixels are arranged in RGB Vertical Stripe. As for mechanical detail, it features active area of 49.68(W)×82.8(H) mm, outline size of 54.6(W)×93(H)×2.15(D) mm, net weight of 20.0g (Typ.). As a Normally Black, Transflective LCM product, LS038Y7DX01 can provides 300 cd/m² display brightness 500:1 transimissive contrast ratio, 12:1 (Typ.) reflective contrast ratio, 80/80/80/80 (Typ.)(CR≥10) (L/R/U/D) viewing angle, best view direction on Symmetry , and response time of 40/40 (Typ.)(Tr/Td) ms. Gray scale or the brightness of the sub-pixel is determined with a 6-bit gray scale signal for each dot, thus presenting a palette of 262K colors, also with performance of color gamut 70% (NTSC). This product adopted 7S1P WLED as it's backlight systerm which was placed as Edge light type, external backlight driver is additionally needed.
