The test of LCD display can follow the following steps and methods to ensure its quality and performance:

Appearance inspection:

First check the appearance of the LCD display to see if there is any obvious damage or abnormality, such as scratches, cracks, stains, etc.

Power supply voltage detection:

Use a multimeter to measure the power supply voltage of the LCD display to ensure that the power supply voltage is within the normal range. This step helps to detect whether the power supply is stable and avoid display abnormalities caused by power supply problems.

Signal voltage detection:

Use a multimeter to measure the signal voltage of the LCD display to check whether the signal voltage is normal. This helps to detect whether the signal transmission is stable and avoid display problems caused by signal problems.

Signal waveform detection:

Use an oscilloscope to detect the signal waveform of the LCD display to determine whether the signal is normal. Through waveform analysis, you can further understand the quality and stability of the signal.

Desktop background test:

Change the desktop background color, such as all black, all white, all red, all green, all blue, etc., to check whether there are heterochromatic points, bright spots or dark spots on the screen. This method can intuitively detect whether there are problems with the pixels of the LCD display.

Software testing:

Use professional LCD display test software, such as DisplayX, Nokia Monitor Test, Monitors Matter CheckScreen, etc., to conduct comprehensive testing. These software can detect parameters such as bad pixels, dark pixels, bright pixels, color, contrast, response time, etc. of LCD display screens, and provide detailed test reports.

Hardware detection:

Use professional LCD display detection pen and other hardware devices to detect the reaction of each pixel by touching the screen surface, so as to determine whether there are bad pixels or failed pixels on the display. This method can more comprehensively evaluate the quality of the display and find potential problems.

Dynamic picture test:

Play fast dynamic pictures on the screen to detect whether there is a residual image problem. The residual image problem is usually caused by image retention due to untimely refresh of the display effect.

Regular calibration and adjustment:

Regularly calibrate and adjust the LCD display to ensure that its color, brightness, contrast and other parameters are in the best state. This helps to improve the display effect and extend the service life of the display.

During the test, attention should be paid to keeping the ambient light, temperature, humidity and other conditions stable to avoid the influence of external factors on the test results. At the same time, according to the specific test needs and conditions, appropriate test methods and tools can be selected for testing.
